Emily + Eric | Real Wedding

Emily and Eric are two of the sweetest people I have had the pleasure of working with. They are just so lovely, and naturally, so was their wedding at Hickory Street Annex in January. I love the way Emily's wedding mixes bright colors (pinks, gold and mint) but still keeps a very natural, crisp winter vibe. For their sweets table we designed a collection of three cakes - a more traditional white stucco-style buttercream cake, a pink ombre cake and for the groom something (a bit) more manly and restrained with a gold fondant base and smooth buttercream top. Eric was a great sport and we promised not to use any pink on his cake! :) The macarons, on the other hand, are all pink and gold. This couple was not afraid to have some fun with their dessert bar and chose it as a place to showcase a more playful vibe. How cute is the backdrop the bride made herself?! We were pumped to collaborate with some of our favorite vendors on this beautiful wedding for a truly special couple.

Obsessed with this gorgeous invitation suite our pal Blue Eye Brown Eye designed and calligraphed! SO dreamy!

Stunning! Emily is so beautiful, and the detail on her BHLDN dress is a show stopper.

We also made some adorable mini pink and gold donuts that the bride packaged as favors for guests.

This wedding was featured on Green Wedding Shoes earlier this year. Read and see more here.
